A matted coat is a pet parents ultimate nightmare. They cause pain and discomfort for dogs and outside of shaving the coat (gasp!!) there is no quick, simple or pain free way to de-mat a dogs coat. The best remedy - PREVENTION.

A dog brush won't do the job as they often brush over tight compact matts that are forming at the base of the coat. A comb is needed to prevent and work through any matting in the coat.
